The Annual Carnival held by SEZ in celebration of the Milad of our beloved Aqa Maula (TUS) was held on the 26th and the 27th of May 2012 at the Henry Pedris Park. The event was opened by Janab Amil Saheb Sh. Yusufbhai Bahanpurwala at about 8.30pm with Quran Majeed tilawat and Madeh. An opening speech was given by Mu. Murtazabhai Hameed.
Both days were well attended by Mumineen who were able to enjoy the food, games and the rides. There were several trade stalls set up as well and Mumineen took advantage of this to set up shop and advertise their wares.

On Sunday, the 27th, which was also the night of the finals of the IPL, Mumineen gathered to watch and support their teams via the large screen that was set up for the event. There was cheering and booing alike as the match turned out to be a nail-biter; adding to the memories of Carnival 2012.
Every year awards are given to the Best Trade, Games and Food Stall, this year the winner of the Best Trade stall went to Aamir Bhai/Tayeb Bhai, Best Games Stall to Awesome Blossom & Best Food Stall to Hizbul Falah.
This was a historic year for the SEZ carnival as it is the first carnival after Nas upon Syedi wa Molayi Aali Qadr Mufaddal Bhai Saheb Saifuddin Saheb (TUS). May Allah Ta’ala grant our Beloved Moula Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (TUS) & his Mansus a long life until the day of Qayamat. Ameen
