The training began with an in-depth education of the fundamentals of first aid and the theoretical underpinnings that lay at the foundation of the discipline. This was followed by a stringent practicals session where each participant was physically guided in all first aid eventualities. The qualified First Aiders are now internationally certified to take life saving action in serious medical emergencies such as Drowning, Heart Attacks, Fainting, Serious Wounds, Bleeding, Fractures and several other medical situations. The primary objective of organizing this was to prepare youth in the essentials of preserving life. Participants would also now be eligible to join Shabab’s Adventure Club; which would organize an ongoing series of outdoor and physically challenging activities. Details of Shabab’s Adventure Club would be released shortly.
